Boilingpage APIs

We've been seeing good traction since our launch a week back and we are receiving great feedback from our users. People find our results to be very interesting and useful. Thanks to those who've tried our site and special thanks to those who've written about us. Here's a tweet in Swedish about us: http://twitter.com/ErikEkholm/statuses/1382125625 (Use google translator to translate it to English) :)

On popular demand, we have opened our results through APIs, so that anyone can now integrate our results with their web site. Here's the link that describes on how to use our APIs: http://www.boilingpage.com/index.php?p=api

We want to be the ultimate destination to find the hottest pages in the web and we are working with few companies to stream our results through them. We'll soon be showing up in the home page and topics pages of Kosmix (http://www.kosmix.com), a leading web organizer.

Please keep checking our website, we'll always be showing you exciting stuff!

Public launch!

Hurray! We've taken the screen today and Boilingpage (http://www.boilingpage.com) is available to the public now. We've added more spiders so as to scrape more twitter pages and thereby bring more web pages, based on which we'll determine the hot ones. During the beta version, I've been asked by many people about our algorithms and how unbiased our engine is. Well, I cannot speak more about our algorithms, but I can say that it's 100% unbiased on any particular twitter profile. I bet it cannot be spammed with spurious pages, even if one wants to; because our algorithms are so sophisticated, it can identify between spams and non-spams and bring only the relevant ones to the top of the page.

We are constantly adding more features to our site. My favorite feature is the 'feeds' one, where you can register a keyword as a feed and you'll be notified by email whenever there is a hot page related to your feed appears. You can control the frequency of the emails. I have Obama, iPhone, Lake Tahoe etc in my feeds and I don't have to keep refreshing my page to find updates.

Please give it a shot and let me know your feedback. Your opinions are very important for us, please keep them coming here so that we can improve our site.
